Ed paid a visit to my studio late last year. He sat in a small wooden rocking chair, reading to me as I drew; not only in response to his words, but also the many tangents, sub-plots, memories and off-shoots that live among them.

I drew 30 pen and ink illustrations that day. You can find them all within the pages of the book.
