My name is Will Barras.

I’m an lllustrator.

I was born in 1973 and grew up in Halesowen near Birmingham.

I moved to Bristol when I was 18 to do a graphic design degree.

After three years at university I went to work in a call centre for a year, which left me with a large pile of drawings….

After two more years and two more jobs I began to get illustration work.

Two years later I was included in a book called Scrawl.

Since then I’ve carried on doing illustration work.

I’ve worked on a few animated commercials with Bermuda Shorts and I’ve travelled to Europe, America and Japan for live paintshows and exhibitions with the Scrawl Collective.

I moved to London at the end of 2002.

I now spend my days at Bermuda Shorts….
